| dc.description.abstract | The NFNSP 2018-2023 seeks to significantly improve food security and nutritional status. It therefore sets out impact targets covering interventions to address vulnerability to hunger; undernutrition and under overweight and obesity, which are at least as ambitious as the global targets and in some cases (e.g. stunting and exclusive breastfeeding rates) more ambitious. The selection of 17 indicators was inspired by three imperatives: (a) Key national goals to reduce poverty, inequality and unemployment, as set out in the National Development Plan 2030; (b) The six World Health Assembly indicators for nutrition1 and (c) Food security indicators from the General Household Survey. | en_US |
