In theory, an increase in public investment spending on (infrastructure projects) induces a stimulatory effect on economic growth via 2 main channels

Other findings shows that high public spending on infrastructure reduce poverty incidence (cf. Estache et.al, 2013; World Bank, 2006) and improve income distribution
